According to Mark Gurman, the long-in-development Apple Car could have resembled the Canoo Lifestyle minivan, featuring a futuristic design with rounded edges, dark black windows with adjustable tint, an all-glass sunroof, white exterior, and whitewall tires with a black center. The car was optimized for Level 5 self-driving and aimed to accommodate four passengers comfortably. Previous design concepts included a vision resembling a 1950s Volkswagen Microbus and a version similar to the 2017 Volkswagen ID Buzz prototype. However, Apple's indecisiveness and hubris caused the project to stall, leading to its eventual cancellation.
