PC Market Rebounds with Signs of Improvement After Years of Decline

After two years of declines, the PC market is showing signs of life, with research firm Gartner suggesting that the decline has finally bottomed out. While PC shipments in Q3 still saw a 9% year-over-year decline, it was an improvement compared to the 16.6% decline in Q2. The industry has been hit hard by COVID-related slowdowns, inflation, and rising interest rates, but as inventory levels drop and more people seek out newer PCs, the market is expected to recover in 2024 with a 4.9% growth in shipments.
