Marc Andreessen: A.I. will save the world, don't freak out.

Venture capitalist Marc Andreessen has written a 7,000-word manifesto in which he argues that artificial intelligence (AI) will "make everything we care about better" and that people should stop "freaking out" about the technology. Andreessen, who co-founded Silicon Valley VC firm Andreessen Horowitz, said AI was "quite possibly the most important – and best – thing our civilisation has ever created". He also debunked five commonly cited risks associated with AI, including perpetuating existing inequalities and killing jobs through automation.
