Intel Co-Founder Gordon Moore Passes Away at 94.

Gordon Moore, co-founder of Intel and pioneer of the semiconductor industry, has passed away at the age of 94. Moore was instrumental in the development of the first commercially viable integrated circuits and famously predicted that the number of transistors on an integrated circuit would double every year, a prediction that became known as Moore's Law. In addition to his contributions to technology, Moore and his wife established the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, which has donated over $5.1 billion to charitable causes.
