Amazon Innovates Data Centers with AI and Eco-Friendly Upgrades

AWS announced at its re:Invent event that it will implement liquid cooling for its AI servers, including those using Trainium2 chips and NVIDIA accelerators, to enhance performance and energy efficiency. The new cooling system integrates both air and liquid cooling, allowing AWS to support a significant increase in rack power density. Additionally, AWS is simplifying its electrical and mechanical designs to improve infrastructure availability and reduce electrical issues. These innovations aim to support emerging AI workloads and reduce AWS's carbon footprint.
