Bel-Air Estate Could Break Record as America's Most Expensive Home for Third Time

Casa Encantada, a Georgian-style mansion in Bel-Air, has been listed for $250 million, potentially making it the most expensive home in the US. The 40,000-square-foot estate, which boasts 60 rooms, underwent a two-and-a-half-year renovation by interior designer and architect Peter Marino. The property includes a wine vault, screening room, bar, tennis court, basketball court, koi pond, and gardens. The current owners, Gary and Karen Winnick, estimate they spent tens of millions of dollars on the remodel. The most expensive home ever sold in the US was a $238 million New York City penthouse.
