Steve Bannon, who has ties to an indicted Chinese billionaire accused of fraud, accused Elon Musk of having "paymasters" in Beijing and being a toady to the Chinese government. This isn't the first time Bannon has accused Musk of serving the Chinese Communist Party. Musk has expressed admiration for the Chinese government and has been known to create business ties with China. Bannon was arrested on Guo's yacht in 2020 and charged with crimes including money laundering offenses linked to the "We Build the Wall" fundraising campaign.
