Social Security Quiz Stumps Majority of Near-Retirees

A new survey by MassMutual reveals that 43% of Americans aged 55 to 65 do not know how much of their income will come from Social Security benefits. The survey also found that 69% of respondents either barely passed or failed a 13-question true/false quiz about Social Security. More than one-third of respondents failed, while 34% just passed with a grade of D. The survey highlights the need for Americans to educate themselves about Social Security benefits before claiming them.
