Northeast Alabama Starbucks Workers Strike for Better Conditions

Workers at a Starbucks in Scottsboro, Alabama, staged a strike to protest working conditions and unfair labor practices. The store, which had previously unionized, experienced understaffing and employees reported being overworked. The strike aimed to bring the company to the bargaining table and address these concerns. Starbucks Workers United, representing about 8,500 employees at over 350 stores nationwide, has filed complaints against the company. This is the second Starbucks store in Alabama to unionize.
