DHL Workers Stage Strike Over Unfair Labor Practices

DHL Teamsters at the CVG Global Hub in Kentucky have gone on strike, demanding a fair contract that covers 1,100 ramp and tug workers. The workers joined the Teamsters in April and have been negotiating with DHL since July for improved pay and working conditions. The union has filed unfair labor practice charges against DHL. The company has activated contingency plans and temporarily moved flights and volume away from CVG to other locations. DHL has expressed commitment to negotiating in good faith during December and offered further negotiating dates for January.
