DHL Workers Launch Strike Over Labor Practices and Contract Negotiations

Over 1,100 DHL Express Teamsters at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) have gone on strike to protest unfair labor practices and demand a fair contract. The Teamsters have accused DHL of engaging in illegal anti-union activity and have filed numerous unfair labor practice charges with the National Labor Relations Board. DHL Express, a highly profitable division of Deutsche Post AG, recorded a $4.3 billion operating profit in 2022. The Teamsters are calling on DHL to respect their members and negotiate a strong contract.
