DHL Express U.S. Air Hub Workers Strike Amid Holiday Rush

Over 1,100 DHL Express workers at the company's main U.S. air hub in Cincinnati went on strike to protest unfair labor practices and stalled contract talks. The strike threatens to disrupt package deliveries during the critical holiday shipping season. The workers, who load and unload DHL Express airplanes, have been negotiating their first contract with the company since July. DHL Express has enacted contingency plans to ensure service is not disrupted, including using replacement staff and shifting flights and volume to other locations.
