Stalemate: Mercy Health and Anthem Fail to Reach Agreement

Mercy Health and Anthem Ohio Managed Medicaid insurance have reached a stalemate in their negotiations, resulting in Mercy Health providers and facilities being considered out-of-network for patients with Anthem insurance as of July 1. Emergency treatment will still be accessible at Mercy Health hospitals, and the transition for Anthem Managed Medicaid patients will be facilitated until July 31.
