Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Papa Murphy's Cookie Dough

Health officials have warned against consuming chocolate chip or s’mores bar cookie dough items from Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza sold from multiple locations after 18 people in six states, including Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, became sick with Salmonella infections. The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare has identified four people in Idaho with salmonellosis, and all of them were women, with an average age of 48 years. One person was hospitalized but has since been released. Health officials are investigating the source of contamination and advising people to discard any Papa Murphy’s chocolate chip cookie dough and s’mores bars dough.
