Listeria concerns prompt multiple salad kit recalls.

Fresh Express, a brand sold at Publix and other retailers, is voluntarily recalling three varieties of already-expired salad kits due to a possible health risk from Listeria monocytogenes. No infections from the salad kits have been reported yet. Listeria infections can cause serious, sometimes fatal, infections in young children, frail, elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems. Refunds are available where the product was purchased.
