Gerber Good Start infant formula recalled over contamination concerns.

Perrigo Company is recalling certain lots of Gerber Good Start SootheProTM Powdered Infant Formula due to possible contamination with Cronobacter sakazakii, which can be life-threatening in infants. The recall affects formula manufactured between Jan. 2 and Jan. 18 at the company's Gateway Eau Claire, Wisconsin, facility. No adverse effects related to the recall have been reported. Consumers who purchased the formula after March 5 should check the product's lot code to see if it's under recall.
