McDonald's has released a new Game Boy Color game called Grimace's Birthday, featuring the character skateboarding through McDonaldland to collect purple milkshakes and hold a birthday bash. Developed by Krool Toys and Gumpy Function, the game was created using GB Studio and can be played on a browser, computer, or mobile device. The game is not officially released, but a digital copy is available for download through the Internet Archive. McDonald's is having a retro gaming moment, following the release of a Chicken McNugget-shaped, Tetris-playing handheld in China.
