Closure Order Issued for Lucy's Banh Mi in the Strip District

Lucy's Banh Mi, a popular pop-up food vendor in the Strip District of Pittsburgh, has been ordered to close due to multiple health code violations. The vendor, known for its spicy Vietnamese sandwiches called banh mi, was found to be preparing food at a residence instead of an approved facility. Violations included improper storage of raw eggs and other ingredients at incorrect temperatures, failure to change gloves or wash hands, and the presence of cigarettes and a lighter near food preparation areas. In total, Lucy's Banh Mi received 16 health code violations.
