Disney's Ambitious Plans for Anaheim Resort Include R-Rated Entertainment, 'Black Panther' Expansion, and a 60 Billion Dollar Incentive

Disney executives have teased the possibility of bringing new lands, rides, and attractions based on popular franchises like "Black Panther," "Frozen," and "Coco" to the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. The company is also considering adding an Avatar experience to the resort. These plans are part of Disney's proposed expansion project called Disneyland Forward, which aims to update and renovate the theme park by adding new attractions, shops, and restaurants within its existing footprint. The project is privately funded and Disney hopes to receive approval from the Anaheim City Council by the end of 2024.
