Rivian's Latest EV Lineup Unveiled Amid Financial Challenges

Rivian announces the addition of two new midsize SUV lines, the R2 and the surprise R3, to its electric vehicle lineup, with the R3X as its performance variant. The R2, priced at $45,000, is set to be available in the first half of 2026, with over 68,000 reservations made within 24 hours. The R3 and R3X will follow the R2, offering dynamic abilities and quick acceleration. Both models will have two battery sizes and can be charged with NACS and CCS plugs, with the larger battery size allowing for over 300 miles of range.
