A fifth Walmart store in Central New York, specifically the Oswego location, has been confirmed to have a credit card skimmer placed at a checkout during the July 4th holiday weekend. The skimmer was believed to be installed on Sunday morning and was discovered on Wednesday. Police are investigating the incident and are looking for three suspects who are believed to have installed the devices at various Walmart locations in the region. Customers who shopped at any of the affected stores between July 2 and July 5 are advised to check their credit card and bank statements for any fraudulent charges.
