Nebraska Woman Charged for Exploiting Gas Station Glitch to Get $28k in Free Gas

A woman in Nebraska is facing felony charges after allegedly exploiting a gas pump glitch to obtain $28,000 worth of free gas over several months. The gas station's software glitch allowed customers to swipe their rewards card twice to enter a demo mode, enabling them to pump gas without paying. The woman reportedly stole 7,414 gallons of gas before being caught, and security camera footage was used to identify her. Another individual was also found using the same rewards card, but it's unclear if they faced charges.
