The employee, Alonniea Fantasia Ford, became agitated with the customer, Anthony Ramos, and his family, and after a dispute over the missing fries, she threw ice and condiments before firing at least two shots at them. A lawsuit has been filed against Jack-in-the-Box, claiming negligence for not ensuring customer safety. Ford pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and completed a one-year deferred adjudication sentence. The lawsuit seeks at least $250,000 in damages.
