Whataburger, the popular "better burger" chain with a cult following in Texas, is set to open its first location in Las Vegas on the Strip by the end of 2023. The new restaurant will be part of a two-story building adjacent to the Waldorf Astoria and will be open 24/7. The partnership with franchisee Panda Restaurant Group will bring 210 new jobs to the area. Whataburger fans in Las Vegas have long awaited the arrival of the beloved chain, as the closest location was in Kingman, Arizona, which closed in 2009.
