Over 580,000 beds sold at retailers like Walmart and Wayfair are being recalled due to the risk of breaking during use, resulting in dozens of injuries. The recall affects various models and sizes of upholstered low profile standard and platform beds from Home Design, Inc., with 128 reports of breakage and 36 injuries. Consumers are urged to stop using the beds immediately and contact the company for free replacement slats and side rails. The recalled beds, sold between July 2018 and November 2023, were manufactured in Malaysia and were priced between $100 and $300.
