Hyundai Ioniq 5 N: The Insane 641HP Hot Hatch Debut

Hyundai has unveiled the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, its first high-performance electrified model, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Ioniq 5 N features two electric motors with a total output of 600 horsepower, which increases to 641 hp with the N Grin Boost function engaged. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 161 mph. The model comes with an 84.0-kilowatt-hour battery and 800-volt technology for fast charging. It also offers various software enhancements for track driving, including N Battery Pre-conditioning and N Race features. The Ioniq 5 N features larger wheels, revised suspension, and an updated regenerative braking system. It also comes with N e-shift and N Active Sound + systems to simulate the experience of a dual-clutch transmission and provide distinct sound themes. The Ioniq 5 N will be available in 10 colors and is expected to go on sale next year.
