"Ford Suspends F-150 Lightning EV Shipments"

Ford has halted shipments of the 2024 F-150 Lightning electric pickup trucks to conduct quality checks for an unspecified issue, while also beginning shipments of the newly designed gas-powered 2024 F-150 pickups. The automaker plans to ramp up shipments of the gas-powered trucks in the coming weeks after completing launch quality checks. Production of the F-150 Lightning is continuing, but Ford previously announced a reduction in production due to lower-than-expected demand for electric vehicles.
