Ford recalls 1.5 million vehicles for brake and fluid issues.

Ford is recalling 1.5 million vehicles in the US due to two separate issues. The first recall affects 2013-2018 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKX midsize cars, where brake hoses can rupture, leading to brake fluid leakage, and increasing brake pedal travel and stopping distances. The second recall affects 220,000 F-150 trucks from the 2021 model year, where the windshield wiper arm can break, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the affected parts, and owners will be notified via letter.
