A Texas Longhorn steer named Ricardo disrupted train service between New Jersey and New York City when he wandered onto the tracks at Newark's Penn Station. After a chaotic scene, Ricardo was tranquilized and taken to the Skyland Animal Sanctuary and Rescue, where he will spend the rest of his days. The sanctuary's founder and president, Mike Stura, reported that Ricardo is recovering well and will remain in quarantine until cleared by a veterinarian to join other animals.
