Amazon's Bedrock intensifies competition in AI cloud services.

Amazon has launched Bedrock, a service that allows developers to build generative AI apps using pretrained models from startups including AI21 Labs, Anthropic, and Stability AI. The move comes as Amazon's cloud business growth slows down. The generative AI market is expected to be worth over $100 billion by 2030. Meanwhile, AI research startup Anthropic aims to raise up to $5 billion to take on OpenAI and enter over a dozen major industries. Elon Musk is also reportedly planning to take on OpenAI.
