"National Grid Works to Restore Power After Upstate NY Wind Storm"

National Grid expects to have power restored for all north country customers by 11:30 p.m. following a wind storm that downed power lines. As of 6 p.m. Thursday, about 5,000 customers were still without power, with significant improvements from earlier in the day.
