Young Angler Sets State Record with Massive Trout Catch in Holston River

A 10-year-old boy named Palmer Tipton caught a state record cutthroat trout weighing 4 pounds 12 ounces in the Holston River in Tennessee. The previous record was 2 pounds 8 ounces. Cutthroat trout are not native to the Eastern United States but have been stocked in select waterways by various agencies.
