George Bouchard of Weymouth, Massachusetts, won $1 million in the Mass Millionaire Holiday Raffle and plans to use his winnings to buy a safe car for his daughter and grandchild. The raffle, which started on Oct. 20, awarded $20,000 prizes on 11 consecutive Fridays, with Bouchard winning the grand prize on New Year's Day. He purchased his winning ticket at American Legion Morrisette in Quincy, where he serves as the post commander.
