"Virginia Sailor's Remains from Pearl Harbor Attack Identified 82 Years Later"

The remains of sailor David Walker, who was killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, have been identified by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) using anthropological, dental, and DNA analysis. Walker, who was presumed dead and never recovered, will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. Advances in DNA technology have significantly helped identify the remains of missing military personnel from the USS Oklahoma and other ships sunk during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
