Rescue Operation: Indian Workers Safely Extracted from Collapsed Tunnel Using Heavy Machinery

Heavy machinery, including excavators, are being used to drill and fix a wide steel pipe in order to rescue nearly 40 Indian workers trapped inside a collapsed tunnel in Uttarakhand, India. The 4.5-km tunnel, part of the Char Dham pilgrimage route, collapsed on Sunday. Food, water, and oxygen have been supplied to the trapped workers, and efforts are underway to safely pull them out.
