Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy has raised "about $240,000" for the family of fallen NYPD officer Jonathan Diller and pledged to match additional contributions. Officer Diller was fatally shot during a routine traffic stop, leaving behind a young widow and a one-year-old son. Portnoy announced the fundraising efforts through the sale of NYPD merchandise and expressed his support for law enforcement. The suspect, Guy Rivera, with over 20 prior arrests, has been arrested, and the driver of the vehicle, Lindy Jones, also with a lengthy criminal record, has been taken into custody.
