José Andrés Appoints Sam Bakhshandehpour as New Global CEO

Celebrity chef José Andrés has stepped down as CEO of his restaurant group, now named José Andrés Group, to focus more on his humanitarian efforts with World Central Kitchen. Sam Bakhshandehpour has been appointed as the new global chief executive, with plans to expand the company domestically and internationally. Andrés will remain as founder and executive chairman. The company has also announced new leadership roles and received investment from RockCreek to support its growth.
