"Best Buy Recalls Insignia® Air Fryers Nationwide Over Fire and Burn Hazards"

Best Buy is recalling approximately 187,400 Insignia Air Fryers and Air Fryer Ovens in the U.S. and nearly 100,000 in Canada due to fire, burn, and laceration hazards. The devices can overheat, causing handles or glass doors to break or melt, with 24 reports of overheating, melting, or glass shattering, including six reports of fires. Customers with affected models should stop using them and contact Best Buy for a refund or credit, but should not return the devices to stores.
