Salt Bae's Nusr-Et steakhouse in London, known for its extravagant prices, has resorted to cost-cutting measures such as turning off heating and lights to save on energy bills amid soaring costs. Despite recording a jump in profits, the restaurant has faced challenges during the cost of living crisis and has made efforts to improve energy efficiency. The company's pre-tax profits rose 44% to almost £3.3m in 2022, with sales soaring almost 66% to £13.6m, but it has still made adjustments such as cutting prices and ditching signature expensive items.
