"FAA Sets 90-Day Deadline for Boeing to Address Safety and Quality Concerns"

The Federal Aviation Administration has given Boeing 90 days to come up with a plan to address quality problems and meet safety standards for building planes after a panel blew off a brand-new Boeing 737 Max jetliner last month. The FAA is currently completing an audit of assembly lines at the factory near Seattle, where Boeing builds planes, following an incident where bolts were found missing after repair work. Boeing CEO David Calhoun stated that the company has a clear picture of what needs to be done and will develop a comprehensive action plan to demonstrate the profound change demanded by the FAA.
