OU to Host SEC Launch Party with Open House and Celebrations on July 1
The University of Oklahoma and its Athletics Department will host a series of free public events on July 1 to celebrate their move to the Southeastern Conference. Sponsored by Riverwind Casino, the festivities will include a 5K glow run, pep rallies, equipment sales, SEC Network programming, and a "Party In The Palace" event at Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium featuring live music, speeches, and a drone show. Additional events will take place in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, with a student-centric celebration planned for the fall semester.
