Cornell University wrestler Yianni Diakomihalis made history by winning his fourth NCAA wrestling championship title in the 141-pound weight class. He defeated his opponent, Jaydin Eierman of the University of Iowa, in a 6-5 victory. Diakomihalis is the first wrestler in Cornell history to win four NCAA titles and only the 13th wrestler in NCAA history to achieve this feat.
