
John Forté, Fugees Collaborator and The Score Contributor, Dies at 50
John Forté, the Brooklyn-born musician known for his work with the Fugees and Wyclef Jean on The Score, died at 50; Massachusetts authorities said there were no signs of foul play and did not disclose a cause of death, and Forté’s career spanned solo albums, a 2000 drug conviction later commuted, and projects including a planned Fugees tour and HBO work.
