Jerry Springer remembered and celebrated in Cincinnati.
Friends, family, and fans gathered in Cincinnati to celebrate the life of iconic talk show host and former WLWT anchor Jerry Springer, who passed away at the age of 79 after a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. Springer was remembered for his humor, generosity, and political career as a council member and mayor of Cincinnati. The event featured folk music, speeches from loved ones, and a video tribute from lifelong friend Jene Galvin. Springer will be posthumously inducted into the inaugural WLWT Hall of Fame later this summer.
