Friends and former colleagues of Jerry Springer, the legendary talk show host and former Cincinnati mayor and WLWT news anchor, are mourning his loss. They remember him as a magnetic personality who had an impact on everyone who worked with him. Springer was serious about his work as a commentator on WLWT, but he was also fun and made everyone in the building feel important. Hamilton County Commission President Alicia Reece said Springer helped her with her campaign for city council in 1999 and was always championing young people and their voter rights.
