NOAA's Winter Outlook: Snowy Surprises for Western Washington and San Antonio
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has released its winter weather outlook for Western Washington, indicating potentially warmer than average conditions with equal chances of above or below average precipitation. While El Niño years typically bring warmer and drier conditions, it does not necessarily mean there won't be any lowland snow events. The outlook simply suggests a higher statistical chance of warmer temperatures overall, but there can still be periods of below average temperatures that could produce snow.
