Delta Expands Travel Waivers as Winter Storm Fern Triggers Cancellations
Delta says Winter Storm Fern will cause flight cancellations in North Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Tennessee and has expanded waivers for Eastern North America and the central/southeastern U.S. Travelers can be automatically rebooked or manage changes via the Delta app or delta.com; standby lists are available, staffing adjustments are being made, and refunds are offered for domestic delays of three hours or more (six hours for certain international delays) if travelers choose not to fly. Check flight status regularly via the Delta app or Delta.com to minimize disruption.
