Pennsylvania Mom Charged with Strangling 11-Year-Old Son and Driving SUV into Ocean.
A Pennsylvania woman, Ruth DiRienzo-Whitehead, has been charged with first-degree murder after allegedly strangling her 11-year-old son to death with a belt while he was sleeping. She was later found in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey, after driving her SUV into the ocean. She is being held in the Cape May County jail and awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
