Sam Burns wins the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, defeating Cameron Young 6 and 5 in the final. Burns, who came into the tournament without much fanfare, caught fire with 48 birdies and only 10 bogeys and one double bogey. He fought back from 2-down with six to go in his semifinal against Scottie Scheffler, eventually winning in a playoff. Burns' victory is his fifth on the PGA TOUR and moves him to eighth in the FedExCup and 10th in the Official World Golf Ranking.
