Michigan high school girls basketball: Lyons' forever shot clinches unforgettable Rockford finish.
Grace Lyons hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 40 seconds remaining to give Rockford a 40-36 win over West Bloomfield in the MHSAA Division 1 Final, capturing the first Finals title in program history. The win avenged a Semifinal loss from a year ago. Rockford was in the game thanks in large part to the efforts of sophomore Anna Wypych, who finished the game with 20 points and eight rebounds.
